the Loss of source code that is in the "search" as the "key part of the company" could lead to search engine for years of litigation and serious reputational costs and falling market capitalization. The sources of Kommersant reported that the value of the stolen source code and algorithms of search reaches "billions of roubles".

Dmitry Korobov has taken steps to find people willing to buy the source code and algorithms, and also tried to sell the stolen intellectual property on the black market.

In a press-service "Yandex" has refused comments before the entry into force of the judgment.
