Director of the National library Roman Motulsky thanked the representative of the American company in Belarus Irina Maksimova for the generous gift, noting that his institution is always strictly enforces the rights of copyright holders. Due to its high reputation, the library has access to different information networks, which is available at a significant discount, and, in places, and at no cost.



Also the head of the library assured that the computer equipment of the institution meets the latest requirements.

- High standards were initially laid down. Ten years ago, when she was created technical base of the library, we decided that we will purchase only the most modern equipment, in this we were supported by the President himself. We have a unique technological expertise, which arrive colleagues not only from CIS countries and Europe. A year ago we have upgraded all our servers 120 and the next step, I hope, would be to move to the cloud.



In turn Irina Maksimova noted that the new Microsoft software will be even less demanding than the previous one.
