A third of Belarusians feel the daily need on the Internet, more than half of it in a cell phone

a study conducted by the Information and analytical center at the presidential Administration.

Every second Belarusian almost daily goes online, and more than half of our citizens can't imagine your day without a mobile phone. These are the findings of a national sociological survey conducted by the Information-analytical center at the presidential Administration, reports BelTA.

Internet users in our country are 64.5% of citizens over 18 years of age, half of them coming online almost daily, and 10% on a weekly basis. The proportion of respondents who use the world wide web several times a month, small - 4,5%. Among active Internet users (using the Internet almost daily) the vast majority are young people aged 18-29 (41%).

the majority of Belarusian Internet users (47%) daily is online for 1-3 hours, 22,5% - 3-6 hours, and only 7% of respondents spend online six to twelve hours. Do not use the Internet, or spends to access the Internet less than one hour a day, 19.5% of respondents.

the Majority of respondents (77.5 per cent) access the Internet using personal computers, mobile phones and smartphones - 43%, tablets - 12%.

the Survey was conducted in all regional centers and Minsk city, district towns and rural settlements from 26 March to 6 April 2015. The sample size was more than a thousand respondents.
