a Former analyst at Wargaming's Sergey Galyonkin in a personal blog interviewed representatives of it-companies, engaged in development of games. "Pros" of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine completed the questionnaire which told us about their salaries and positions. It turned out that in Minsk in the gaming industry the median salary at $ 1600 higher than in Moscow or Kiev.

the Largest number of survey participants lived in four cities: Minsk (129), Moscow (287), Kiev (130) and St. Petersburg (123). Thus on the first place on wages was exactly the Belarusian capital with the median salary at $ 1600. Just below Kiev with $1525, Moscow — $1200, St. Petersburg — $1000.

As explained in the comments VC.ru the author of the survey, the capital of Ukraine and Belarus are the leaders in salaries due to the fact that they are tied to the dollar rate: "Local companies operate mainly on the Western market and not on the inside and do not suffer from the devaluation of the national currency". However, he noticed the gap between high and low salaries: the beginners have to pay less, while the professionals at Senior positions began to pay a little more.
