Source Facebook opens its first center for the study of artificial intelligence in Europethe Head of Facebook mark Zuckerberg spoke about the beginning of work of the Centre for the study of artificial intelligence in Paris. Facebook already has a similar hubs in Silicon valley and new York. However, the center in Paris will be for the Corporation's first outside of the United States. "Our new Paris team will help to advance our work on the study of artificial intelligence, is was mark Zuckerberg wrote on his page in Facebook. – We will continue to share our ideas with other researchers through scientific publications and open source software. We will also invest in the largest scientific organization, we already have a cooperation agreement with INRIA (national Institute of research in Informatics and automatics in France - approx. TUT.BY)".
Among the plans of the new organization Zuckerberg calls the creation of "more intuitive" Internet services that can offer the user with interesting information, "understanding" voice, text, images and video. The Wall Street Journal examined the track record of the researchers hired in the new center. It is known that in the past they have engaged in the study of child language, recognition of pictures and text, as well as the study of games in real time.
