At GDC 2015 Valve will show the latest version of Steam Machines

Valve has not been told about the future of Steam Machines. But today, the head of PR-Department Doug Lombardi said that new models of Steam Machines will be shown soon on the conference GDC 2015.

 

 2015 GDC Valve will show the latest version of Steam Machines

 

Previously, Valve announced that Steam Machines will be made by 13 companies, among which were CyberPowerPC, AlienWare and iBuyPower. To operate the device will be running Steam OS is a special version of Linus.

 

Start Steam Machines should be held later this year. The device will have very different characteristics - for example, their card will be different from the GeForce GTX 660 to the GeForce GTX Titan.

 

Greg Coomer from Valve said: "We wanted to achieve certain goals in the design of these PC's that have never been reached before. We wanted to combine small size, attractive appearance and high performance. In addition, the platform should be as open as possible".

 

GDC 2015 will begin on March 2 and will be held until 6 March in San Francisco.
