Sony has not announced at the Mobile World Congress 2015 its new flagship - it seems we should expect later this year. Today the company have hinted at a future announcement.

 

 

Tim Harrison, Vice President of PR Department at Sony, said in an interview with TrustedReviews: "Z4 is a new generation of products that we offer". Harrison also said that Sony has not switched to a more traditional release cycle of one of the flagship every 12 months.

 

From this we can conclude that the Xperia Z4 will be announced before the onset of autumn, because Xperia Z3 was presented last September. Most likely, the smartphone will still show in the spring.

 

Sony Representative also stated that the Xperia lineup Z3 continues to be popular, and the company is going to play: "These smartphones are very well show themselves in the market and interested in many consumers. Recently, we introduced several new their capabilities: Remote Play for the PlayStation 4, a new theme for the camera and new applications".
