One of Russia's largest torrent tracker Rutracker will not be closed even if quite will remain without advertisers. As reported by Slon, said representatives of the administration. They stressed that the project was repeatedly offered financial help.

"Rutracker is a non-profit project... Even if we don't have any banner, Rutracker is not closed, is not closed as Wikipedia, whose pages no banner", — said the representatives of the resource. At the end of January 2016 Rutracker was permanently blocked in Russia. In Roskomnadzor believe that a torrent tracker in a few months will stop working due to the outflow of information.
