The company explains that continually expanding the range of products and services brought beyond solely a software company. And the new logo is a three-dimensional character of the path, a portal to more — more content, communication, data-savings.

On the project to update the brand Opera worked for about a year or two independent agencies: the British DixonBaxi has created a global brand and creative strategy, and the Norwegian Anti developed visual materials. New "About" will be the first to get Opera Mini on iOS devices. In subsequent months, the new brand will come all the company's products.

the New logo is the fifth in the company's history. Previous changes occurred in 2004, 2009 and 2013. The longest held is the first logo of the developer for 1995.
