Facebook: the time has passed LOL

Facebook has conducted a study which showed a significant decline in the popularity of the acronym LOL — laughing out loud. According to the obtained data, it was replaced by the combination of letters haha (haha) — it is used by 51.4% of visitors to social networks against 1.9% for LOL. On the second place on popularity — emoticons (33,7%), the third is the word hehe (hehe).

In the study, we analyzed only the messages on the pages of Facebook, direct messages were not considered. In Facebook found that men were more likely to use haha and hehe and women different kinds of emoticons.
