MTS will deploy a 3G network in the 900 MHz range

the Operator of MTS reported the receipt of permission of the State Commission on radio frequencies to use UMTS 900. For the allocation of frequencies the company will pay 8.7 million Euro. As noted in the MTS, the deployment of 3G network in the 900 MHz range will cover sustainable communication in rural area and hard to reach areas.
