In particular, they observed nonlinear dependence of the size of the sticky surface on the pads by weight of the lizards.

If 40% of the area of the human body were sticky hands and feet, it would be impractical from the point of view of survival. It is for this reason that creatures more geckos that can climb on vertical surfaces, does not exist.
