the Company Telekom Austria has published the financial report for the second quarter of 2015. It is noted that the Belarusian operator velcom due to the devaluation't account for 14.5 million euros. Revenue compared to the same period last year decreased by 1.1 per cent to 84.4 million euros.

In the last quarter of velcom lost eight thousand subscribers, market share has declined from 42.6% to 42.4%. ARPU (average revenue per user) for the year has not changed and is still 5 euros. Profit before tax, interest and depreciation increased by 4.5% to 43.7 million euros.

Significantly increased the capital cost of the operator — from 7.3 million to 10.6 million euros. This is due to the increased cost of upgrading the network.

As emphasized in Telekom Austria, in Belarusian rubles financial performance velcom showed good growth. The first is associated with high demand for data services and positioning velcom as a premium operator with a high level of communication quality. On the same indicators in the Euro negatively impacted by currency fluctuations and a ban on raising prices inside the country.
