In a press-services of operators MTS and velcom journalist Onliner.by commented call life:) change the voice signal informing of calls to ported numbers. The companies do not consider it appropriate to support the initiative of the Belarusian-Turkish operator.

the press service of MTS told us the following:

"We are convinced that a notification, which consists of only four words and acts now in our network, is the most appropriate way to inform the caller that the operator network that he calls. This will allow the customer to control their mobile expenses. While a short beep will not give understanding that a person makes a call to a ported number and will communicate at other rates.

in addition, we try to adhere to in the matter of the law "On protection of consumer rights", which States that notification of subscribers should be implemented properly, that is simple, clear and accessible".

And here is the comment of the press service velcom:

"velcom comes from the fact that the subscribers should receive clear information about the network which operator they are calling. The only way they will be able to fully control the cost of your calls. The audio signal can not ensure the uniqueness of such information for the subscriber. That is why, in our opinion, the voice message is correct and the only option to inform about calls to numbers ported to other operators 'networks".
