The design represents the pump required to create the pressure to eject a water jet, which is the antenna. SeaAerial can quickly be installed on the shore or in the open sea. As noted in the press release, Mitsubishi, SeaAerial is the world's first salt water antenna capable of receiving digital television signals without interference. The most difficult problem was to achieve an effective work of such system, for which the engineers have calculated the optimum diameter of the jet. Mitsubishi are confident that SeaAerial superior to metal counterparts, are difficult to transport and erect: water antenna is much more mobile and "can be placed almost anywhere" (which are salt water).
