recently the Arbitration court of Petersburg and Leningrad region ruled on the suit music labels Warner and Universal to a social network "Vkontakte". Copyright holders will not receive 50 million Russian rubles of compensation, but "Vkontakte" was obliged to create a system that would forbid network users to download on its servers illegal content. As reported by "Vedomosti", on this system the decision has already actively working.

the Record companies had accused Vkontakte of piracy and demanded to remove from sharing the songs of nine artists: Charlie XCX, Natalia Gordienko, the Novel Kanga, Sergey Lazarev, Lianne La Havas, Lumiere, Sak Noel, Yulia Parshuta, Rumer. Sony Music also filed a lawsuit to the resource "Vkontakte", but this summer agreed to the legalization of their music in the social network. Users will have to pay for it.

a Similar agreement can be signed with Warner and Universal, however, the representatives of the companies can't agree on the price and the format in which users of the social network will be paying for access to music.
