for the First time information about possible unauthorized access to email messages on BlackBerry smartphones appeared in December 2015. It was alleged that after deleting their messages can still be recovered and read, reports Motherboard. The specialists of the NFI have tested in practice the opportunity and achieved their goal. This was done by a specialized company Cellebrite.

BlackBerry Smartphones with built-in PGP encryption are positioned as the device for users who don't want to risk their business or personal correspondence. These smart phones are used among others, and representatives of the criminal world.

When verifying algorithms, the police were able to recover 279 e-mail messages from 325, but this requires direct contact with the cell phone. It is noted that some encryption algorithms remain inaccessible, and certain models of BlackBerry smartphones.
