In the beginning of 2015 the administration of certain British colleges and universities have banned the wearing of smart watches during exams, so do schools in Australia and the USA. Such practices now intends to adopt, and Kyoto University, became the first Japanese University, which will prohibit coming to bring to the exams a smart watch.

an Interesting fact is that the ban applies not only wearable, but also "stupid" — mechanical. Clearly, the University administration decided to play it safe and to deprive future students of possible loopholes. As recalled by The Verge, in 2011, the University was in the center of the scandal because of the actions of one of the students. He, being on the exam, questions posted to the network on one of the forums where users have posted answers for him.

Probably in the future practice of the ban smart watches on exams will be followed by other educational institutions in Japan: cell phones to be brought into the test classes, and upon admission it is impossible for a long time.
