The deal will allow the Corporation to expand its product range and offer new classes of solutions for emerging markets, said in a release sent to the address Onliner.by press release.

Altera will be to work within the new unit Programmable Solutions Group at Intel Corporation. It will be headed by Dan McNamara from Altera, which is a leading provider of production technology of programmable logic integrated circuits of FPGA type.

"We will use the Moore's law for FPGA development business and create new products with totally new capabilities, including solutions for automated driving, and machine learning", — said the chief Executive officer of Intel Corporation Brian Krzanich.
