Leadership remains for Samsung and Apple. The American Corporation has increased its market share from 14.8% to 16.2%, sales of smartphones in China grew 18%, in India — 76% on an annualized basis.

Samsung was able to add only 2.1% due to high competition with Chinese companies, which dominated the low-end market. In the class of high-end devices Koreans have to compete with Apple.

the highest growth of sales was shown by the Huawei company, which increased its share, according to IDC, 44.3% in comparison with 2014. Now it ranks third, behind Samsung and Apple, the report said. According to experts, Huawei showed the effectiveness of steps taken to position the company in the international market of mobile devices, and was in the top corporations that have been able to sell over 100 million smartphones (like Nokia, Samsung and Apple).
