according to the experts at CSIS, victims are supposedly random mobile numbers that receives SMS with a link to the installation file. This file is MazarBOT. If you check the geographical location of the smartphone passed on the phone installing additional software to encrypt the traffic and hide routes.

Then there is send text message in English "thank you" message out to the Iranian mobile number, also indicating the coordinates of the smartphone. As reported by Computerworld, using MazarBOT attackers can take control of the infected phone, send SMS to premium numbers, to bypass two-factor authentication used by banks, as well as organizing a network attack.
