EN-64 Apache crashed, practicing a "hard landing"

the Two helicopter pilots were killed during a training exercise for the UN force in Mali.

an-64 Apache belonging to the armed forces of the Netherlands, crashed in Northern Mali during military exercises, according to defence-blog.com.

Representatives of the UN forces reported that the helicopter crew worked "hard landing" during a training exercise near Gao in the North of the country. However, due to possible technical problems EN-64 Apache crashed. One of the pilots died on the spot and another died later from injuries in a French field hospital.

the Dutch defence Minister General Tom Middendorp, noted that "... although everything indicates that it was an accident, we can not definitively prove it". Upon crash under investigation.
