Boston Dynamics is a company that designs and manufactures robots. It was bought by Google last year, and today unveiled a new robot. This device is similar to a dog called Spot and is a bit smaller and more nimble version of the already demonstrated previously robot WildCat.

the weight of the Spot is approximately 72.6 kg and moves it with the help of electric motors and hydraulics. The robot is able to walk, to climb different types of landscape with built-in sensors and balance in the case of receiving a blow.

compared to the WildCat or Big Dog this robot is more agile and mobile. It can also automatically find its way and, for example, to reach those wounded in the rubble of buildings, which cannot reach the people.

Boston Dynamics Plans and Google's use of the Spot is not yet clear. I hope the two companies plan to take over the world.
