Cybercriminals have managed for some time to seize control of antiaircraft-rocket complexes Patriot, located on the border of Turkey with Syria. Defence Talk reports that the hackers were able to execute multiple commands on the complex. Exactly what commands were tested on the weapon, not specified.

Experts suggest that a hijacking might occur due to two security vulnerabilities: in the system of data exchange between the launcher and the command point or between the guidance system of missiles and ammunition. Also not ruled out kidnapping all the information with anti-aircraft missile system.

Patriot were provided to Turkey by Germany in 2012, when the Syrian civil war began. The representatives of Germany has refuted the information about the burglary.
