Astronomers have found out that for the last two billion years, the universe had dimmed twice, indicating a slow dying of our world. This prediction has been done through a study of 220 thousand galaxies, which are in two billion light years from Earth. Scientists have determined how much energy was produced stars in the past. Today, the universe produces twice less visible light and other forms of energy. This confirmed a long-standing assumption about its slow death.

According to scientists, the last planet will be destroyed after a quadrillion years, and in 10 quintillion begins the era of black holes that will swallow white dwarfs and neutron stars. After 2 10 to 99 years under Hawking radiation black holes will evaporate, and the Universe will remain electrons, photons and positrons.
