Scientists from the University of Plymouth and Queensland University of technology have come to the conclusion that just three minutes of the game "Tetris" is capable of 20% to suppress the urge to have sex, drink alcohol, or just to eat and sleep. Psychologists explain that a person who has a strong desire, visualizes his satisfaction, and interesting visual game is able to distract him. the study involved 31 men aged 18 to 27 years. It took place not in laboratory conditions and in natural environment of the subjects. Seven times a day they received a text reminder three minutes to play "Tetris" on the smartphone. At first they were reporting on their craving for coffee, cigarettes, booze, food or sex, and after the game was evaluated as changed is the desire. Throughout experimental weeks the scientists noted the positive effect of "Tetris", which significantly distract participants from obsessive-compulsive disorder. This effect is accompanied by other computer games that are able to captivate the player, say scientists. The authors want to continue your research and conduct experiments with the audience, suffering from drug addiction. Other news in this section
