Study: song of Nirvana recognized a perfect hit (video)

Musician Mick Grierson and part-time computer specialist, University of London, set out to identify common features hit songs. For this he was armed with lists of "best songs of all time" relevant journals and computer analysis, reports the Daily Mail. In his summary of the top line of the rating of the most iconic songs was Smells Like Teen Spirit of Nirvana.

For this he was armed with lists of "best songs of all time" relevant journals and computer analysis, reports the Daily Mail. In his summary of the top line of the rating of the most iconic songs was Smells Like Teen Spirit of Nirvana.

Grierson analyzed the tone, the tempo, the number of chords used, the variety of voices and the range of sounds in height. As a result decided common to all hits of the parameters: they are dynamic and keep the listener's attention, a variety of sounds combine in unique ways in each individual song, the tempo is mostly equivalent 120-125 beats per minute, and the most hits (80%) written in C major and use six to eight chords.

Second and third place after the analysis in the ranking took the Imagine of John Lennon and One of the band U2. The top five also included Billie Jean authored by Michael Jackson and Bohemian Rhapsody from Queen.
