a Group of Spanish and British scientists have developed an acoustic beam capable of pulling objects and manipulate them. Something similar can be seen in science fiction films "Star trek" and "Star wars." There are, however, objects are immeasurably greater than those which operate on real physics.

the Developed system, which consists of 64 speakers, allows you to work with several objects: to control their position in space, and also rotate independently from each other, without direct contact with them. In the current experiments, the researchers used a polystyrene ball with a diameter of 4 mm, however in the future the objects will be larger and heavier. Speakers generate sound with a frequency of 40 KHz (normal person hears the sound with frequency up to 20 KHz), writes Reuters.

According to physicists, the speaker system may find application in medicine for various operations (extraction of stones from the kidney, for example) and deliver drugs inside the body.
