Planets that revolve around black holes may be inhabited. Energy sources for them will be the temperature difference between the cold black hole and the cosmic background radiation, suggest Czech physics. The black hole will be for the planet in this case, cold sun, reports "Lenta.ru" with reference to New Scientist.

Czech scientists estimate that earth-like planet orbiting a black hole, can remove about 900 watts of useful power. This is enough to sustain life, but little for its origin.

As noted AVI Loeb of Harvard University, before the temperature of the background radiation was higher than it is now. For example, after 15 million years after the Big Bang, it was equal to 300 Kelvin (27 degrees Celsius). For availability on a hypothetical planet with liquid water and its components 130 gigawatts of electrical power, but it's a million times less power that the Sun provides the Earth.

gravity object Itself must be quite old and therefore not be in the vicinity of the wreckage of stars and other celestial bodies that would threaten the existence of the exotic life on the planet.

Also it became known about the possible discovery of a new planet in our Solar system. About discovery beyond the orbit of Pluto object the size of Neptune, which is 10 times heavier than Earth, said astronomers Mike brown and Konstantin Batygin of Caltech in Pasadena.

the planet orbits the Sun on an elongated orbit with a period of 15 thousand years. Confirmation of the existence of the heavenly bodies is five years.
