Russia refused the colonization of the moon

Thus, the lunar program, which was recently named the strategic goal of development of Russian cosmonautics, donated while reducing the overall budget, Izvestia reports.

From the program disappeared such projects as "the creation of the lunar landing complex", "the Establishment of a lunar orbital station, lunar base Establishment", "creation of a lunar space suit" and "the Creation of a system of robotic components on the moon". Also had the project of creation of oxygen-hydrogen space tug, which was designed to deliver spacecraft to orbit the moon.

the spacecraft, which is now publicly and which in the future will be able to fly to the moon, will continue to build.

On Russia's plans to colonize the moon in April of last year, announced Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin. It was stated that Russia, unlike the USA, would fly to the moon in one-off mode, and will create a permanent infrastructure.
