the Russian state Corporation "Roskosmos" has summed up competition on selection of the best names for new transport spacecraft. The jury chaired by the Director General of the Agency Igor Komarov has decided to ignore the "Gagarin" and to name the ship "the Federation".

On the choice of the experts were three options that came up with citizens and voted by the users of social network "Vkontakte". The ship could be called "Gagarin", "Vector" or "Federation". As a result, the choice was made in favor of the latter.

"a great Name for a series of new space ships our of the country. After all, Russia is a Federation consisting of 85 entities, and each of them will receive the opportunity to name his name one of the space ships", — said in Roskosmos. The author of this title is entitled to visit Baikonur to attend the launch of the manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz to the International space station.
