the Initiative belongs to olangskoi non-profit organization Grid Alternatives, which actively fights including emissions of greenhouse gases. She has managed to obtain from polluting companies $14.7 million. All this money will be used to purchase solar panels that will be installed in homes in disadvantaged areas of the state. By the end of the year, Grid Alternatives will have time to supply these panels in the 1,600 houses.

According to information from the Chronicle, the installation of solar panels will allow each household to save annually for accounts of $400-1000. However, since the program is non-commercial, Grid Alternatives encouraged to contribute and citizens themselves, in which houses will be set free of the panel: for example, they can feed a team of installers or to assist them with the installation.
