Data were collected in the Chinese province of Shaanxi with a population of 36 million people. Within three months, researchers collected data on the number and duration of news about epidemics, as well as information on hospitalized patients. A large number of news led to the decrease of cases with a delay of three to four days. The influence of the more popular sites, which is logical, it was noticeable. The hospitalizations were halved, when in the course of 10 days increased duration of messages about the epidemic.
