Australian astronomers have discovered the closest to Earth potentially habitable planet. It is in the constellation of Ophiuchus, literally next door to us — at a distance of only 14 light years. And it's only 126 trillion miles from Earth, experts estimate resource Science Alert.

In the constellation around a red dwarf star Wolf 1061 three planets revolve. The first is too close to the star to be habitable. She turns around her for 5 days and presumably has a mass 1.4 times the mass of our planet. The third planet is 5.2 times heavier than Earth and revolves around its sun for 67 days.

But the average, Wolf 1061c, is in terms which may arise in the known life. She turns around red dwarf for 18 days, its mass 4.3 times larger than the earth. As the star Wolf 1061 is noticeably cooler than the Sun, its average orbit of the planet fits into the habitable zone. In addition, the star looks very calm, unlike their dwarf cousins, which generate x-ray bursts and superspace, without giving a chance to arise the seeds of life on their satellites.

it is Also assumed that the exoplanet tidal locked is always turned to its sun one party as the Moon to the Earth. This means that one side of the Wolf 1061c very hot and the other very cold. Atmospheric modeling has shown that this can cause strong winds on the planet that actively force the air to circulate between the two parties.
