the Hubble Telescope has carefully studied the exoplanet 55 Cancri e and confirmed the existence of its atmosphere. However, the chances of finding life there is close to zero: the temperature on the Sunny side of super-earths reaches about 2000 degrees Celsius, reports Engadget.

"This is a very interesting result, because for the first time we were able to detect the spectral fingerprints of gases in the atmosphere of super-earths", said NASA scientists.

planet 55 Cancri e, is just 40 light years from us. The mass of this rocky and hot ball about 8 times the mass of our Earth. It is believed that 55 Cancri e is the most common type of planets in the Galaxy.

a More detailed study of instruments of the orbital telescope Hubble has shown that super-earths atmosphere consists mainly of hydrogen and helium. Such a hot planet does not contain a hint of water in its atmosphere. And its full revolution around the star takes 18 earth hours.
