control of the boat may be performed by operators with land or another ship, reports UPI. In addition to the main tasks, Seagull can be used for intelligence, surveillance and recognition. It is noted that the development of boats was carried out in secret for several years. It is expected that its use will significantly reduce the costs of some military operations.

Seagull is able to be in independent swimming for 4 days in a radius of 100 km from the operator. The boat speed is 32 knots (about 60 km/h). Currently Elbit has the only working prototype of the boat, which underwent a series of tests.
