In BNTU will develop low-cost 3D printer

Students-graduate students and teachers of the Belarusian national technical University (BNTU) are working on the creation of the sample as cheap 3D printer. It is expected that such devices will be installed in educational and ancillary purposes in schools, universities and design offices, write "Belarusian news".

"the Specialists who teach engineering graphics, say designers easier to prepare, immediately teaching them to design in three-dimensional space", - has explained the Deputy Dean on scientific work of the faculty of marketing, management and entrepreneurship BNTU Alexander Zaika. He believes that when there is a cheap 3D printer, we can facilitate and expedite the processes of implementation of any product.

According to Zaika, the Belarusian society a year ago knew almost nothing about 3D printers, but there are now enough aware of this technology. Like all new technologies, he said, this attracts the attention including a modern children. As an example Zaika presented the situation when the child prints out a toy, then gradually updates, this case teaches their peers.
