Astronomers have found a giant "planet outcast" native star. It was assumed that 2MASS J2126-8140 is a homeless runaway, which "broke away" from its star and is flying alone in space. Australian scientists decided to closely examine the coming of the luminary and came to the conclusion that the planet is simply removed from its sun at a record trillion kilometers. according to Popular Science, the distance from 2MASS J2126-8140 to red dwarf TYC 9486-927-1 in the constellation of the Painter is about 6900 distances between the Sun and Earth. The orbit of the planet, which is quite close to us — just 100 light years, 140 times wider than the orbit of Pluto, but a complete revolution around its sun it takes about a million earth years. From the surface of this planet red dwarf looks like another nondescript star in the sky. However, the surface of the planet 2MASS J2126-8140 is a relative term. It is assumed that it is a gas giant, which is 12-15 times more than that of Jupiter. The planetary system is relatively young: it took from 10 to 45 million years since its birth, while the age of our Solar system is approximately 4.5 billion years. See also: the
