associate Professor in the Department of gastroenterology and nutrition SEE "BelMAPO" candidate of medical Sciences Dmitry Ulasevich told about the study, which was conducted by the Department of gastroenterology BelMAPO. Studied three types of domestic carbonated drinks. According to the results of the study, experts concluded that carbonated beverages can be consumed even people with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
 
"the Study proved the safety of the use [of soda] patients suffering from gastroesophageal reflux disease, ulcers of the stomach and duodenum, diseases of the liver and intestines. It's a scientific fact", – quotes Agency the words of the expert.
 
However, doctors noticed that in some diseases, fizzy drinks can be contraindicated.

According to experts, carbonated beverages, there is no clear age limit. Children are recommended to start drinking soda not before 5 or 6 years. However, it is necessary to monitor the child's diet was balanced. In school cafeterias, according to experts, sodas don't sell not because of their harm or danger, and for that sugary drinks are not replaced by other food needed by the children.

Previously it was thought that sodas are harmful to the body and cause obesity, cancer of the esophagus and destroy the teeth.
