a Series of five strange signals have been detected by located in Australia radio telescope Parkes. In the case of short (5 MS) radio bursts originating from outside our Galaxy. Over the past eight years since the first discovery was caught just 11 short single radio bursts.

Until now it was believed that, because such phenomena are born out of the milky Way, they probably have a cosmological nature, i.e. are due to some processes with extremely high energy release. For example, short radio bursts could be the result of a merger of neutron stars. The extreme rarity, uniqueness and irregularity of such signals indirectly confirmed this theory.

However, a series of five equidistant from one another in time of signals nullifies previous assumptions of scientists. Now they do not understand, how can appear such a short and sudden radio bursts. the "We have no idea what's going on. But we know that it is something unbelievable," — wrote in his blog, Emily Petroff from Swinburne University.

Ufologists speak more boldly. Known "researcher" UFO-Nigel Watson, for example, does not rule out that mankind is faced with signals from an alien civilization. Pessimists, however, I remember the radio telescope Parkes's recent embarrassment when it was revealed that he had caught the signals of the microwave office, who for 17 years tried to decipher the dozens of scientists. It is not excluded that a short radio bursts, in the end will be the result of triggering of some alarms or something like that.
